  1. Greg McHenry says:

I got to know Larry Boyce in 1982 when I transferred from Malibu Station Patrol to Santa Clarita Valley Station and I instantly liked the friendly, easygoing nature and kindness as a human being and co-worker. There were several other times during my career at seven stations, and training where our paths crossed and he was that same good man. I’m fairly certain he knew my Dad, Mark, who was a deputy at Wayside MAX for most of his career, if memory serves me. My deepest sympathy to Larry’s wife and family, the family of a good man.

I would add that a good man shares his kindness and love with everyone he knows and cares about. Larry was that man!

  2. I worked with Larry at Altadena Sheriff’s Station in the mid to late 70s. Great deputy, great man! Rest in peace, Larry.
