James Patrick VanJacobs, age 82, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away on June 14, 2020 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on July 2, 1937 to James Emmett VanJacobs and Eleanor Carlson.
James is survived by his wife Gloria Kay VanJacobs.

Gloria,
Our thoughts are with you. First your mom, then your dad, and now Jim. It doesn’t seem so long ago that your folks moved in next door, and now your dad’s been gone ten years. (His clipboard and folding chairs still make it to the block party each year, so no doubt he’s keeping an eye on us.) The people who bought the house have taken good care of the yard. I think your dad would be pleased. I hope that the days ahead will be full of pleasant reminders of the good your family has done and the kindnesses they have shown.
