  1. Awww, Judy and I are so sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. He was a neighbor and good friend. We loved his penmanship on the Christmas card we received each year. We remember the times when he wasn’t in so much pain. He always had a warm greeting for us. Not only did we see him in the neighborhood, he would greet us and a LOT of folks at his job at Costco. He never seemed stressed there and took the time to talk with us even if the line grew behind us. Thankfully we were able to visit with Jim a few months ago and even though we knew he wasn’t doing well at that time, he didn’t show that to us. We will miss him. Sending our thoughts and prayers to Gloria and all his family. He will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace, Jim.

  2. Gloria,
Our thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family on your loss
It was my honor to have known Jim and call him a friend.

  3. We are so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. What great memories we share, especially that 50th anniversary of yours. If Heaven needs a greeter with a constant smile, he’s their guy for sure. Love to Gloria and the family.

  4. Gloria,

Our thoughts are with you. First your mom, then your dad, and now Jim. It doesn’t seem so long ago that your folks moved in next door, and now your dad’s been gone ten years. (His clipboard and folding chairs still make it to the block party each year, so no doubt he’s keeping an eye on us.) The people who bought the house have taken good care of the yard. I think your dad would be pleased. I hope that the days ahead will be full of pleasant reminders of the good your family has done and the kindnesses they have shown. We are happy to have known you and to have been blessed in our association with you and yours. Best wishes always. Lynn and Lynette Miles
