Obituary

William (Bill) Bohl of Goodyear, Arizona, died peacefully in his sleep on October 26, 2018, at the age of 74. He was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on January 23, 1944, and raised in Plainview, Nebraska. He was a natural born leader who enriched the lives of many. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Bohl in 2004. They eventually settled in Goodyear, Arizona where he enjoyed his retirement. Bill’s humor, charm, and positive energy made him the life of the party. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being surrounded by family and friends. His favorite places to be were in the kitchen cooking a delicious meal or relaxing in the pool.  Bill’s warm and generous personality will be greatly missed.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Velda Bohl. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Bohl; children, Kim Landstad (Mike), Dena Gourley (RJ Ryan), Kale Gourley, Ian Gourley (Elaine Fontalvo); sister, Janis Holmes (Gerald) and his seven grandchildren Brady, Quinn, Reagan, Christine, Kayla, Jailynn and Antonella.  Bill had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends that he also loved and cherished.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 3 pm – 7 pm at the Family Residence. Gone but never forgotten, Yeah Baby!

I can’t think of many people I have known that filled my heart with warmth like Bill! Bill and I worked together at CSG for a long time. Bill was a great manager that really cared for the people that worked for him and he really cared about their success and the success of the company. When I think of Bill I smile because he had such a great sense of humor. I love you Bill, rest in peace my friend!

I had known Bill for almost a decade at CSG, where he was my manager. He was one of most humble and kindest people I have known- Bill shared his love for Nepali food with me, threw one of the best parties at his house each year, and was one of the greatest leaders at the company. It was a pleasure to have known and worked for him. Rest In Peace, Bill.
