Obituary

Goodyear – Vicki Lynn Guiney, 74 passed away on January 14th, 2024.  She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 7th, 1949.  She was a graduate of Cortez High School and formally educated at Grand Canyon University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  She shared 52 years of Marriage with Wally Guiney.

As a devoted mother of 2 children- Heather Amenhauser and Travis Guiney.  She was an aerospace engineer, loving sister to Dee Whitmore, Nancy Speer, Deborah Laverty, Sherry Mc Donnell, Jerry Smith, Felson Smith, Kenny Smith, and Bubby Smith, also being a friend to many-Shout to her shopping partner in crime Sharon Marcelleti.  She was so passionately dedicated to her family. As her family grew she became a doting grandmother of 5.  Noah Amenhauser, Ellison Guiney, Eva Amenhauser, Quaid and Brock Guiney.  She was actively involved in volunteering at elementary school and the running club.  With all of this she was unable to pass up a yard sale, discount store, or bakery outlet.  Also did a stint as a prison counselor in Kingman, Arizona.  She enjoyed camping, jet skiing, the outdoors, fishing, and dropping a couple quarters in the slot machine. She deeply impacted the lives of so many.

Burial will take place at 9:30am, Monday, January 29 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
