Obituary

Tyler Michael Wilson, age 31 of Phoenix, AZ died January 29, 2020, in Glendale, AZ. He was born July 20, 1988, in Phoenix, AZ to Michael and Patricia (Doyle) Wilson. Tyler grew up in Goodyear, AZ and graduated from Millennium High School in 2006. He began working as a tile setter, a trade that he learned from his father. An excellent cook, he practiced as a chef for 5-6 years until he decided to follow his true passion for refurbishing cars.   He was a car fanatic – the older the better. He worked as a mechanic, welder, and fabricator at Purgatory Industries. He was also working on starting a new clothing line, “Wilson Work Wear”.

Tyler lived life to the fullest and on the edge. He was sarcastic, a prankster, and a huge daredevil. He enjoyed the rush of his motorcycle hurtling down the highway. He loved fishing with Levi, camping, and being outdoors. He was passionate about music and enjoyed heavy metal and rock, especially Tool. He was enthusiastic about art and enjoyed everything from painting and drawing to tattoos. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, and a 100% family man. He lived by his creed, “Be simple, honest, respectful and loyal.”

Tyler is survived by his mother Patricia “Trish” Wilson; sister, Tiffany Johnson and her husband Levi; and grandfathers, Pat Doyle, and Fred Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Wilson, and grandmothers, Virginia Wilson and Ruth Doyle. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Christ Church of the Valley, 1565 N 113th Ave, Avondale, AZ 85392.  The family suggests that donations be made to the ALS Association Arizona Chapter, http://webaz.alsa.org .
