I only knew Thomas for a short time, but I can honestly say, Thomas was the type of man that you only needed a short amount of time, to know what kind of man he was. He radiated warmth, compassion and kindness. To be in his presence you just felt his love for life, as much as, his love for his wife.
His passing leaves our hearts filled with sadness, but we know he has made heaven a warmer, brighter place.
    Rest In Peace my friend

  3. Mark Ogden says:

Thomas was a bright spot in an world that is often too dark. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. I know his light is shinning brightly in heaven. And although we all feel pain at his loss, I know the pain, in this case, is a measure of the love we had for the man.

I hope that all of us can get past the pain we feel and remember the love we had for Thomas. If we can share that love with others, then the light Thomas brought into this world will continue to shine through us. Godspeed Thomas. You will be missed.

  4. Jennie Ogden says:

I knew Thomas was my kind of friend when the weekend my husband and I met him (at Angela and Matt’s wedding) we got hotel security called on us for having our own after party in our hotel room. Thomas was fun-loving, kind, and a truly joyful person to be around. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

They say the price of love is grief, and myself and everyone I know who knew Thomas is grieving his loss tremendously. I send my sincerest condolences out to his love, Deana, and his family. I love you all, and I’m so sorry for your loss.

I was fortunate to work with Thomas throughout his career. A true professional, yet even more, a kind, understanding and compassionate human being. Rest assured Thomas is with his loved ones.

    Prayers to family and friends,

    Allen Romer #1161, Lt.
    Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office
