Obituary
Tara Lynn McCartney, age 48, of Goodyear, Arizona and formerly from McHenry, Illinois, passed away in her home on May 21, 2020. Tara was born on November 18, 1971, to Donene McCartney and Eugene McCartney Sr. in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tara loved her family, friends, music and especially her dog Sophie. She brought a smile to everyone and everything around her and her candle still shines brightly even after her passing. Tara became a born again Christian, and her faith in our Lord gave her strength in her times of struggle. In her memory the family asks for everyone to offer a prayer on her behalf for all who suffer.
Tara was preceded in death by her loving son Ryan Ziebell. Tara is survived by her life partner, Jordan Farkaschek, her sister; Wendy Karvounis Nee McCartney, her brothers; Robert and Eugene McCartney Jr., her parents; Donene McCartney and Eugene McCartney Sr., her daughters; Melanie Frey and Krystina Ziebell, her grandchildren; Chase, Audrey, Nathaniel and Noah, and her brother-in-law; Kosta Karvounis.
Services will be private.
