My heart goes out to all of you , family and friends, for such a great loss, but especially to you Lisa and Stevin, who were spoiled by his generosity, humor, thoughtfulness and care every single day.

I’ve always appreciated how comfortable and welcomed he made me feel whenever I’d come to visit. His quick wit and hilarious come backs couldn’t be matched. His willingness to go places, any sightseeing adventures, was also so appreciated. He made every visit so memorable!

I loved him dearly for the wonderful husband he was to my very best friend, And for being the best “Bonus Dad” ever to Stevin.

Forever loved and remembered in so many wonderful ways. RIP.

Miss you already so much. So many great memories as kids growing up – you were a great brother that I will cherish forever. Always in my heart

  3. What I learned from my amazing husband Steve; Leave the dishes in the sink and go outside and watch the sunset holding hands. Leave the laundry basket full and jump in the truck, pick a new road and see where you end up. Leave the dust on the bookcase and sit outside together in a thunderstorm, watch the sky and share a whiskey. Wish we had many more years to keep doing just that. 6 short years was all I got of you. I know I should feel blessed that I got that 6 but it’s really hard. There’s no one sitting next to me talking through a whole episode of NCIS, no one predicting ahead of time if the person getting pulled over on LivePD is going to jump out and run or sit still. I will miss all of those silly little things we shared that I took for granted because they are gone. I knew I was loved by you because you took such great care of my soul. You showed it with your actions and all the kind things you did for me every single day. What I will miss the absolute most is coming home from work, rounding the corner and seeing your handsome face sitting on the front porch in your favorite chair….waiting for me.

Rest In Peace Steve. I love you like a son and was looking forward to the future when you and Lisa would be able to live your dreams of traveling in an RV. Especially the times that you were going to include me in an adventure. :-). You were always the rock that could be counted on in so many different ways. I am missing your bear hugs and all the love you showered on my Lisa. Mama Coco

We will miss Steve so much. He was such an important part of our family. I thought we were going to have so many more years with him. He used to tease me about not coming to visit more often and I definitely wish I had. I will miss hearing Steve’s unique perspective on life!
