Obituary

Raymond Cecil Hoover, age 28, of Surprise, Arizona passed away on June 17, 2020 in Surprise, Arizona. He was born on November 4, 1991 to Raymond L. Hoover and Rana K. Schultz in Phoenix, Arizona.

Raymond was a proud, loving and caring brother and son. He was very proud of accomplishing the goals that he set forth for himself. He will be missed by many, especially his sister, mother, father and step-mother. May he rest in peace.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Raelynn E. Hoover, his sister, Brittany K. Hoover, and his brothers; Scott A. Youso and Mathew T. Guerre. He is also survived by his parents; Raymond L. Hoover and Rana K. Schultz, his grandparents; Dorothea Augusta Hoover and Joyce E. Day, and his step-mother, Valerie A. Hoover.

Public viewing/visitation services are planned for Friday, June 26, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road in Goodyear, Arizona, beginning at 6pm and lasting until 9pm. There is an additional viewing scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, beginning at 8am, which will be followed by the funeral service at 9am, services are scheduled to end at 10:30am. Men’s Pastor Kenny Kroger, from the Refinery, will be presiding over the services.

  3. Rana I am praying for your family. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact the young man I met 10yrs ago who had a smile and looks that lit up a room. I had to tell him to get to work and leave those girls alone. RC is now in heaven crackin jokes and making everyone smile. Gone but never forgotten. RC rest in peace. Mama Z
