Obituary
Patricia H. Harkin entered eternal rest in Goodyear, AZ on April 22, 2017, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in San Francisco, she grew up in Fullerton, CA. She graduated from the American Airlines Stewardess College in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, beginning a career in the airlines that took her from Stewardess to Station Manager for Wings West and American Eagle at Yuma International Airport in Yuma, AZ and Station Manager at John Wayne Airport in Orange, CA. At the end of her career, she was a Station Manager, then Supervisor of 250 Flight Attendants at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). She is survived by her husband Bernard (Butch) Harkin of Goodyear; son Christopher Bedinger (Catherine) of Yuma; daughter, Julie Rogers (Andra) and grandson Jalen Cheatham of Goodyear; brothers Charles Pease (Susan) of Sterling, VA and Howard Pease (Kay) of Corona, CA; sister, Dorothy Warner (Chuck) of Yuma, and numerous adoring nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on May 13, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear. Pat loved animals of all kinds, so in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Humane Society of Yuma at 4050 S. Avenue 4½ E, Yuma, AZ 85365 or online at hsoyuma.com.

Pat, may you rest in peace and joy with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for you are good! My last experience with you was the day when you approached me at Safeway, gave me a hug, and you, Butch and my wife and I openly prayed while we all embraced. What a special moment. Butch you are a very special husband and I remember seeing you and Pat pull up on your bike like a couple of teenage bikers. God bless you!
