Obituary

Luis Salguero, 88, passed into eternal life, with his wife by his side, January 6, 2021.

He was born in El Salvador, October 30, 1933. He met his wife, Gladys, who also was of Central American descent in their hometown. In grade school Luis’s sisters and his wife were good friends. Who knew 40 years later they would marry. Married in 1978, they founded and built a local business and a life together, with their children. They were inseparable for 43 years until his death in 2021.

Luis was a funny man. He was a jokester. You couldn’t help but laugh when you were around him, even if it was for only a moment. Luis enjoyed taking neighborhood walks with his wife, long-distance phone conversations with his sisters and brother and unforgettable moments with his grandchildren. He was always loving toward his grandchildren, kissing them and holding their hands. You always felt warmth around him. We will miss his laugh, love, smell, and impeccable style. Luis is survived by his family including his wife, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, sons-in-law, and grandchildren.
