Obituary
Mrs. Loretta Mary Deren, age 77, of Buckeye, Arizona passed away on February 11, 2021 in Buckeye, Arizona. She was born May 5, 1943 to Joseph Mozdzen and Albina Mozdzen(Skowron) in Chicago, Illinois.
Her loves were always her family, her friends, her dog Chewy, educating children and being a mentor to other educators. She was an elementary school teacher and curriculum coordinator at the Cicero School district for 34 years, her last year there was 1999. Loretta continued her love for education during her retirement in Arizona, by doing after school tutoring. She always loved warm weather and vacations, and had love for anything fashion or artistic.
Loretta is survived by her husband; Larry Deren, her sister; Margaret O’Martin, her nephews; Christopher O’Martin, and Michael O’Martin (wife Jacinta), and her great-niece; Alyssa O’Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Albina Mozdzen.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on May 5th, 2021 in McCook, Illinois.
