Obituary

Lillian Denise Perez, 54, of Goodyear, AZ was called to rest on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.  She passed away surrounded by her family at Abrazo West Hospital in Goodyear, AZ. Lillian was born on May 22, 1966 to Nicolas Perez & Amparo Diaz in Chicago, IL.

Lillian was a force of nature. She was caring, loving, loyal and loved to have fun. Anyone who knew Lillian knew they were in for quite a treat.  She was witty and always the life of the party.  If anyone needed to put a smile on your face, Lillian would be the one to make it happen.
Lillian was known for her genuine and honest personality.  One of her favorite sayings was “who put a coin in your slot,” which always guaranteed to create a room full of laughter.  She had a passion and love for music and dancing. It wasn’t uncommon for her to walk around the house singing her heart out even though it was always just her favorite part of the song that she sang.

She was a loving Partner, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend.  She will be extremely missed.  Although her family is sad that she is no longer with us.  We find comfort in knowing she is surrounded by a peaceful and wonderful heavenly garden she will enjoy for eternity.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas Perez & Amparo Diaz and her brothers Hector and Nick Perez.  She is survived by her love Kristal Siegfried, her sisters Lucy Correa, Lydia Ottoson, Mary (Peter) Contreras, Miriam (Jim) Ledden, Teri (Rob) Alvelo and David Perez.  Mother and Father in-law (Tom and Debbie Siegfried) and Brother in-law Garrett (Pennie) Siegfried. Countless nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and an endless number of loving friends.

  1. Lillian, I will never forget meeting you that day at Walgreens. You were wearing a yellow shirt and stocking the popcorn. WOW! Who would have thought my life would change so drastically for the better.. today, 20 years later and endless memories. I now have to allow you to Rest In Peace. You will always remain alive in my heart, I promise to never stop talking about you, and continuing our family traditions. Please continue to walk by my side and watch over me, be my forever angel. I love you with every beam of my heart.
