Obituary
Lillian Denise Perez, 54, of Goodyear, AZ was called to rest on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. She passed away surrounded by her family at Abrazo West Hospital in Goodyear, AZ. Lillian was born on May 22, 1966 to Nicolas Perez & Amparo Diaz in Chicago, IL.
Lillian was a force of nature. She was caring, loving, loyal and loved to have fun. Anyone who knew Lillian knew they were in for quite a treat. She was witty and always the life of the party. If anyone needed to put a smile on your face, Lillian would be the one to make it happen.
Lillian was known for her genuine and honest personality. One of her favorite sayings was “who put a coin in your slot,” which always guaranteed to create a room full of laughter. She had a passion and love for music and dancing. It wasn’t uncommon for her to walk around the house singing her heart out even though it was always just her favorite part of the song that she sang.
She was a loving Partner, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She will be extremely missed. Although her family is sad that she is no longer with us. We find comfort in knowing she is surrounded by a peaceful and wonderful heavenly garden she will enjoy for eternity.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas Perez & Amparo Diaz and her brothers Hector and Nick Perez. She is survived by her love Kristal Siegfried, her sisters Lucy Correa, Lydia Ottoson, Mary (Peter) Contreras, Miriam (Jim) Ledden, Teri (Rob) Alvelo and David Perez. Mother and Father in-law (Tom and Debbie Siegfried) and Brother in-law Garrett (Pennie) Siegfried. Countless nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and an endless number of loving friends.

I was so sad to hear of Lillian’s passing. We met when I was a teenager but lost touch as we became adults but I have the fondest memories of her that I will hold in my heart forever.

I met Lilian when she became a part of the 5505 Walgreens family – she was one of the best leaders, in the truest meaning of the word, to come to that store in my 25 years at the company. It was a privilege to work with her, to watch her fall in love with Kristal and see those once-in-a-lifetime loves, to admire her strength, kindness and humor. I adored her, as many people do; the world is a dimmer place without her shining light – may she rest in peace.

I missed out on the chance to catch back up with you and I’m very sad. I thought of you as a sister and I will miss how you used to make us laugh back in the day.. Plus your unique character you created.. I will miss you dearly.

Lillie will always have a special place in my heart! I met her in Houston through her sister, Miriam…a great friend! The three of us made many memories together, sharing many laughs. Lillie was very protective of us both. The three of us decided one day we were going to move to CA. We sold almost everything we owned and hit the road. It was quite an adventure that I will remember always. I look at the pictures I have of those days often and they make me smile. I hate that I let distance and life get in the way of staying connected.
Lillie was a wonderfully sweet person with a kind soul. Rest In Peace Lillie.
My prayers and thoughts are with all her family. Love Brandy
