  1. I only have happy/funny memories of Larry, so I’d like to share a few of them and hope no one is upset by my light-hearted comments.

In the early 90s, I stayed with Cathy and Larry for a few months. When Larry had the “power” (remote) he would flip through the channels during every commercial, as if the remote were turbo charged (how he could he even tell what was on ?). Before Larry came into my life, I hated Star Trek, but he loved TNG and watched all the reruns. After constant exposure, I began to tolerate it and eventually became a Trekkie myself! To those who are driven crazy by my watching Star Trek reruns today, you have Larry to thank! 😉

I always felt like I was taking my life into my own hands when I rode in the car with him, and whenever possible, I would drive myself or walk. He seemed to think the lines on the road were only suggestions, and drove wherever he wanted, drifting back and forth across the lanes or driving straight up the middle. I think he gave me my first grey hairs sitting in the back seat praying for my life. I know his driving improved my prayer life. 😉

He was also one of the kindest men I ever met. He helped anyone who needed it and went out of his way to do nice things for everyone. He will truly be missed.

  2. Larry you were a great man and will be missed. Nathan and Nicholas loved hanging out with you and Cathy and still tall about their times at the state fair with you. My you enjoy your time with God!
