Obituary

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Kenneth “Kenny” Hewlett, at 68 years of life, passed from this plane due to complications of Cholangiocarcinoma, in the comfort of his home surrounded by love.
He is survived by his wife, Talli (Titus), of 44 wonderful years, his two daughters Jessica Jensen and Elise Tensley, two sisters Kathy (Jeff) Sagdalen and Kayleen (Ken) Weiby, one brother Rod Bell, five grandchildren; Jacinda (17), Jiorja (15) and Jameson (13) Jensen and Quentin Tensley (18) and Madisyn Miller (10), and his pets, Bella (11) and Cole (16).
Ken was a wonderful husband, father, friend, brother, and boss. We’ve heard many agree, he liked to “stir things up” and his sense of humor was a most memorable trait. He had his family laughing and finding peace in this difficult time, which continues to speak to the wonderful man our Ken was.
He wanted to “be seen, not viewed” so there will be no services per his request. A farewell party was held in Minnesota in late September. Thanks to all who joined us and those who wished to. We have many cherished pictures of Ken from that trip, from a lifetime before and till the end. He lived life to the fullest and brought light to any matter, and brought strangers together often with his friendly, sometimes “off-kilter” comments that usually went over surprisingly well, part of his charm. He was a loving man who will be greatly missed. A friendly phone call to share a Kenny-ism or story will be appreciated indefinitely. He, and his family agree, it was a phenomenal ride.

  1. Ken always compared weight loss and then gains with me. We both worked the same way!

I’m so glad that we got to reconnect when you were here in Minnesota in late September, Kenny! It was an honor to meet Talli and your daughters! My condolences to all of your family.
    You will be missed!

    Rest in peace, Buddy!

  4. Kenny and Talli were our neighbors in SE Rochester for over 20 years. Their girls grew up with our daughter. The obituary was so well done. It captured Kenny’s “quirkiness” perfectly. Thanks Kenny and Talli for many good years of friendship. Dar Richardson

  5. Kenny was not only my co-workers husband, but a stand in for all of us in time of need. The colonoscopy driver , airport chauffeur and all around great guy to have in your corner! I’ll miss his laugh and sense of humor. He and Talli were great friends. I’m so thankful he had his farewell tour! It was a privilege and honor to call him a friend. He will be missed…..big hugs to Talli and the family.
