Will miss you, Sis. But when I picture you at the other end of your journey, with loved who’ve gone ahead, I feel joy and gratitude that you were my big sister. Love you lots!

  2. Rest in Peace Mom we Love You

  3. Ron Kutsi says:

I was glad I got to talk to Judy a few days before she passed. The last thing I said when she told me what she was eating. I said, WHAT NO PASTIES?? That got her to smile . Our Finnish heritage staple food. I will always remember her laugh, her smile and each time we talked she ended it with Love You Lots.
To all my cousins , surviving her, I can’t imagine what her passing means to each one of you. She truly was the tie between the Herrmeyer, Maki and my Kutsi side. And I can’t thank you all enough for including me in your holiday letters and for visiting from such great distances when you could. Love, Ron

  4. Mom kept these versions of the 23rd Psalms in her Bible
    23rd Psalm
The Lord my God is my Shepard; I need not want.
God gives me my needs at the time when I need them.
Jesus Christ has saved my soul: He guides me on my life’s journey correcting my direction as I stray from the path His Father God of Abraham Issac and
Jacob has given me. For God’s namesake.
I walk on Earth under the shadow of temptation and will not fear the tempter for Jesus Christ walks with me:
He has defeated the tempter and will protect me along my journey.
    Jesus Christ has prepared my life’s journey before all of God’s creations and all of my tempters: He gives me the gift of His Father God’s Love;
My Love for God Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit shines through me for all God’s creatures and mankind to see.
God’s goodness and mercy follows me through my life’s journey on Earth: When my journey is complete I will dwell in the Lord my God’s House
    forever.
    Dad ARB
    Japanese 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my Pacesetter I shall not rush he makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals he provides me with images of Stillness which restore my serenity he leaves me in the ways of efficiency through balance of mind and his guidance is peace even though I have a great many things to accomplish this day I will not Fred for his presence is here his timelessness is all importance will keep me in balance he prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst of my activity by anointing my mind with his oils of Tranquility my cup of joyous energy overflows. Shirley Harmony and Effectiveness shall be the fruits of my hours for I shall walk in the face of the Lord and dwell in his house forever.

    • Celebrate the Life of Our Mom Judith J. Herrmeyer Reisner born June 21, 1937 in Cloquet, Minnesota to Vernon Herrmeyer and Taimi Maki. Passed away April 6, 2023 AGE 86/9/16, 1st day of Summer—Holy Week Passover-Easter.
    • God makes everyone special. The Bible shows us 14 gen’s between big events=8192 people/timed to make you. God’s timeline not ours.
    • Like many generations before us she passed down God’s Word to us. 400 yo Bible written in German 1 family branch. May we embrace this tradition-Gen
    • God blessed her with the 3 of us, She made sure we were exposed to many different people and situations that influenced who we are today. OMG we have all reached retirement with our God given spouses. She must have done something right! Read [3] 23 Psalms she kept Bible- enjoy her photos.
    • She could give you 30 reasons each way why you should or should not do something and did not tell you to do it or not. We had to make our own choice.
    • Like the 2 men on the crosses next to Jesus we all have a choice. Jesus told one “today you will be in paradise with me” our Mom is today in paradise.
    • We were on vacation, we had a total stranger tell her that “You are an Angel on earth”. Her Love for Jesus was as dim as a candle in the wind or as bright as a lighthouse always shining through her.
    • God gives us each a path to walk however short or long placing people or, us in a situation on His timeline so follow your path where God leads you. God truly has the whole world in His hands.
    • Mom loved to dance to her Uncle’s Polka band, singing and participate in stage plays. Look for the best in people. Quiet and reserved when needed.
    • Collecting family history items both physical items and written items. Organizing everything by name of who in the family they belong to.
    • Spring was her favorite season with all the buds to colorful blooms.
    • Kind and giving to those in need. She gave up her lunch because I brought an unexpected friend home.
    • She traveled to Finland with her Aunt Elsie to visit relatives from the home
land. With her brother David she toured England, Russia, Mongolia, China and India. She traveled to 49 states and lived in 5 different ones.
    • Keep your memories of our Mom in your heart. Remember what she taught us and pass these things to our future generations. God is our guide.

  5. Judy, you were such a sweet lady. I remember being at your house in Cedar Falls and having your amazing tuna casserole! You were such a great Mother. Rest in Peace. I have your family in my prayers for comfort in this sad time until you are reunited in Heaven.
