  1. I remember Joe for his quick smile. When Pat & I joined Sun Country Corvette Club Joe was one of the first that made us feel at home. On all of the rode excursions, Joe had constantly had a thermal container of coffee. Of course this also necessitated in many pit stops. “Joe the Man” will be missed by all that knew him.

  3. Joe you will be missed by oh so many friends who have come to know you over the past few years. You were a good friend and fun to be with. Rest in peace our friend.

  4. Bobby & Michael,

This has just gobsmacked me. I remember all the tales of my Mom told about growing up around your Dad (and Jimmy as well). I remember family events when we got together (though they grew rare as time wore on) and loved how odd and funny he was (and I adored your Mother and grandmother). I always sensed the Schafer side of the family was full of great and wonderful people.

And he could have a good party anywhere!!

And though it’s been a while since I last saw him, I know I’ll miss him forever.

My deepest condolences, cousins. Much love to you both

    David
