Obituary

John Lowe Faber of Goodyear, Arizona passed away December 24, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born August 21, 1943 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Garry and Irene Faber. John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sok Faber, children Susan Faber, Lori Faber, and Chris Faber, and one beloved grandchild Hana Plummer.

John was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired after service for over 28 years. While in the Air Force, John earned many awards including the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Presidential Unit Citation, and the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with Six Devices among several others.

Though he had a stern face (which some thought was scary), he was really a friendly, gentle, and goofy man. He loved to spend his time watching the Washington Redskins play. His greatest accomplishments were his military career and family. He was an especially loving grandpa. His passing has broken our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 9am, Friday, January 5, 2024 at Thompson Funeral.
