  1. My prayers and special thoughts are going out to you, Mrs. DeMare, and to your entire family. I will always remember Mr. DeMare with a smile and twinkle in his eye. He, and you, are among my most special people who guided me in my childhood.

  2. Teri Hauck says:

Our deepest condolences to the family. We are so very sorry.

  3. Thinking of you all during this very difficult time. May fond memories offer some comfort. Love to everyone.

  4. Reading the entries from John’s family brings back memories of both of the DeMare twins . Our Class of 60 at Niagara University was close knit and very special to us all. Although those years were quite a few years back and most us have not kept in touch with one another, the wonderful times we all shared are like yesterday. NU did a great job preparing us for the world. It is a shame to find out about each other’s success in reading obits. God’s blessings to John and his family. Dr Tom Hurban

  5. I will certainly miss John, he reminded me so much of my dad, they were both Italian! I sat next to him in choir at St Thomas and I loved hearing his beautiful voice. I also got to drive him home several times from choir and get to listen to all of his stories. He was such a kind and gentle soul.
