Obituary
Hedwig Willis, 89, of Buckeye, Arizona died on February 11th, 2021 in Buckeye, Arizona. She was born on January 6th, 1932 to Ludwig and Ella Dick in Gumbswieler, Germany.
Hedwig enjoyed spending her time with family quilting and going camping. She always enjoyed the time she was able to spend with close friends, family, and neighbors. But most of all she loved her husband Edwin. Hedwig and Edwin were married for 64 beautiful years and had one child together.
Hedwig is survived by her loving husband Edwin E. Willis, her only son Gerhard (Gary) Willis, two grandchildren Corey and Michael Willis, and two great-grandchildren Logan and Carter Willis.

“You say you’ve seen an Angel?”
My friend asked me today. Without hesitation, ” Yes, I have seen one.” I say.
She said, “What does she look like? Is there a halo and some wings?”
“No, I replied quickly, “She doesn’t have those things.”
She does have, a warmest smile, And is loving like no other. I ought to know, I said, “For this angel, is my Mother!”

Heddy, For the short time I’ve known you and Ed You made a big memory for Barb and I. Your humor and laughter will surely be missed. Now is the time to be reunited with all your German friends and laugh as you have before. God will take care of your family here on earth for now, so enjoy your new found life as you so deserve and some day we will meet again.
