Obituary
Father Rodneylee Pruss, 82 years of Goodyear, Arizona died March 16, 2024. He was born June 11, 1941 in Dodge, Nebraska to parents Albert and Bessie. A visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral on Monday March 25th 2024 from 5pm-9pm with a service starting at 7pm. There will be a Memorial Mass for Father Rodneylee Pruss the following day Tuesday March 26th, 2024 at 10:30 am at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 13720 W Thomas Rd Avondale, AZ 85392. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Avondale, AZ, or St. Patrick Catholic Church in Freemont, Nebraska.

Dearest Family of Fr. Rod,
May the Lord give you peace during this time. Father Rod was kind, fun, loving, and a follower of Jesus. His homilies were inspirational and to the point, and most importantly brought Jesus to us. My family is originally from Nebraska and it was great to always hear Fr Rod’s stories about his lovely family and football. When my cousin, Fr Carl Zoucha from Nebraska, couldn’t make my father’s funeral mass due to weather, Fr. Rod stepped in at the last minute, making it a beautiful celebration.
May you have joy in your hearts knowing that Fr Rod impacted so many people positively. Much peace and love from my family to yours. Jan Zoucha OFS
