Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy McKenzie, 60, of Goodyear, Arizona died October 16, 2021. She was born October 18, 1960 in Bronx, New York to John Maerling and Joan Maerling.
She is survived by her husband Michael McKenzie, Sr., daughter Jillian Lucas, sons Michael McKenzie, Jr. and Matthew McKenzie, sisters Margie Wilson, Jo-Ann Trevizo, and Kay Cagno, and brother Bill Maerling. She also leaves behind four grandchildren Andrea McKenzie, Ashley McKenzie, Zachary Lucas, and Dylan Lucas.
Dorothy loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends so very much. She also enjoyed a good crime show and doing word searches. She had a love of humming birds and wind chimes.
A public visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona on October 30 at 1pm with the funeral service to follow.
