Obituary

Mr. David Lee Hasting, Jr., 54, died September 18, 2021 in Chandler, Arizona. He was born February 17, 1967 in Adrian Michigan to David and Teresa Hasting. He is survived by daughters Krystina (Ryan) Whitten and Sydney Hasting, sons Sabastyon (Danielle) Hasting and Tymmothy Hasting, brothers Michael Hasting and Robert (Tamatha) Hasting, father David (Teresa) Hasting, and two grandchildren.

From a young age, David was known to be a free spirit with a mind and heart of his own. For those who knew him, he was an inspiration that showed us all how to live life to the fullest. David loved music and his soul was most alive when at a concert or playing the drums with friends and family. He loved deeply, and family was one of the most important pieces of his life. He loved animals and nature. His heart and spirit will live on in all who knew him, much like a melody on a breeze; much like he lived.

A memorial service will be held at 6PM Thursday, September 23 at Thompson Funeral Home in Goodyear, Arizona.

  1. I hope you are flying with the angels now. I have always heard you were a free spirit and I can say you were a very respectful, friendly, and caring person. You made people smile and you seemed to have the courage of a champion the last few years. It was a blessing to have known you and I think your family can feel pride in your effect on the world you left.
