Obituary
Bruce Luber, 67, of Buckeye, Arizona died June 10, 2022 in Buckeye, Arizona. He was born February 6, 1955 to Harold and LaVerne Luber Luber in Great Falls, MT.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laurie Luber, son Adam Luber, daughter Caitlin (Luber) Ornelas, sister Stacia Julian, and his mother LaVerne Luber. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Ava, Lilly, Finley, and Ainsley.
Bruce touched all of us in his own unique way. He had an infectious smile & there are many ways to describe him…
Funny, energetic, passionate, driven, perfectionist, generous, athletic, loyal and most of all kind-hearted.
Bruce was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend to all. Bruce loved life which was demonstrated through all of the activities he was involved in. He enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball as a kid, doing karate with his family, golfing, camping with family and friends, traveling to tropical places, hiking, riding bikes, playing Pickleball and chocolate.
Bruce enjoyed playing with his grandkids and watching them grow. He loved to BBQ and share with whomever was around.
We were all blessed to have known Bruce. He will be missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As untimely as Bruce’s passing is, also are the memories that I will always have of him. A friend to me as he was to so many, I will remember his kindness, generosity and spirit. My heart goes out to Laurie and to all of his family

Thank you Bruce. It is truly an honor and a privilege to have known you. My credo has always been “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” With that said, Kimber and I held each other and cried together when we heard of your passing. You left us way too soon. It is so unfair.
I am so thankful for the library of “funny Bruce stories” I have compiled from our various camping trips and get-togethers over the years. You are truly one of the funniest people I have ever met. I have lost count of the number of smiles you have brought to my face, and I feel sorry for all the people who never got to meet you. The photo that accompanies this obituary is perfect. We will forever miss that trademark smirk lol.
We are trying to smile because it happened, but it is so difficult right now.
Laurie, Katelyn, and Adam you are in our thoughts during this difficult time.

I remember Bruce from when we were kids and we visited our Grandmother and Aunt Joyce Pike in St. Jacob, Ill.
I have not seen him since his family moved to California. Sounds like he turned out to be a good man.

Bruce, we are so lucky to have had you in our lives. You brought a brighter day to so many people through your good-natured humor, and at the same time were a role model of what it looked like to work hard for your team. You were an inspiration to me having met you at the beginning of my career. And although we only interacted in a professional setting, it was clearly evident that you were an amazing person that lifted everyone up in all facets of life. Thank you for making the world a better place. I will never forget you; you will always be missed.
