Obituary
Brian Dale Askeland of Goodyear, AZ died March 10, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 60. He was born August 10, 1956 to Oscar and Darlene Askeland. Brian enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved to spend time with his family and especially his grandbabies.
Brian is survived by his wife, Laura Askeland; daughter, Carrie Gabriel (Matt); sons, Trevor Askeland (Ashley), and Andrew Askeland; parents, Oscar and Darlene Askeland; brother, Calvin Askeland (Bev); and seven grandchildren, Austin, Terril, Elizabeth, Lilly, Emma, Aubree, and Dixon. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Askeland.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. The family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.

Laura, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost Denny in 2010 and know how hard this is. May our loving Father wrap His arms around your family and give you comfort and peace. Brian is out of pain now. He and Denny can golf together again. Hugs.
