Obituary

Brenda Gayle Evans Byassee passed away on January 23, 2021. Brenda was born on September 23, 1951 to Emory and Arlene Evans of Avondale, Arizona. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Brenda was married to Joseph Henry Byassee on December 26, 1969, they were married for 51 years.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Henry Byassee, her sons, Joseph Emory Byassee (Kelly), her daughter, Dione Diamond (Billy). Brenda has eight grandkids, Kourtney, Ryan, Brandon, De Shea, Jakob, Angelique, Marcus, and Anthony. She also has eight great-grandkids, Xavier, Aubree, Eva, Brayden(Moose), Isabella, Adrianna, Damian and Zoey. Brenda is also survived by her sister, Roxanne Shamblim and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with all of her grandkids, helping others, and attending Church. She was a remarkable, strong woman. Brenda is preceded in death by her nephew, Johsua Evans, her father, Emory Evans, her brother, Rodney Evans and her mother, Arlene Evans.

Brenda will be greatly missed. Due to circumstances with COVID, there are no services planned at this time. A memorial will be held when able at, White Tanks First Southern Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to COPD and Breast Cancer Research.
