Obituary

Roberta “Bobbie” passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Roberta was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 19, 1934 to George Leonard Pheifer and Agnes Marie Canik Pheifer, and was a sister to 7 brothers and 5 sisters. In 1955, Roberta became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. She married Thomas Lyle Berryman in 1956 and together they raised their family of 5 sons and 2 daughters. The Berryman family moved to Casa Grande, Arizona in 1967. Roberta inherited gypsy blood from her mother and enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, and moving to different areas. She enjoyed crocheting afghans for her family and friends, reading, playing card games, babysitting grandchildren, dancing, gardening, cooking, singing, music and her dog Sassy. Roberta truly enjoyed her life. She was welcomed in death by her parents, George & Agnes, loving husband, Thomas, brothers, Buddy, Billy, Barney, Donnie, Ronnie, and Tommy, sisters, LaVerne, Connie and Marcia. She is survived by her sisters, Betty and Jeannette, and brother James, and by her children, Michael (Ellen), Mark (Betty), Michelle (Alan-†), Matthew (Veronica), Marlene, Thomas, and Daniel (Melanie); her grandchildren, Natascha (Colby), Sean (Christina), Zachary (Laura), Lyle, Wyatt, Alana, Micaiah (Kimberly), Audrey, Alessandra, Jesse, Ryan, Jill, Danielle, Joshua, Lyle, and Jacob, and her Great-Grandchildren, Bhaird, Phineas, Cyndal, Saoirse, Calliope, Wayland, Shanna, Tylie, Hayden, Grayson and Zoey, and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved one and all and will be forever missed and cherished.  Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 25th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
