Obituary

Aurora P. Gonzalez, age 91, of El Mirage, Arizona passed away on December 15, 2020 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born August 24, 1929 to Roberto Preciado and Carmen Tolano in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico.

Aurora liked to read psalms and books, was a great cook, and enjoyed sewing as well. She loved to solve puzzles and complete word searches. She also loved tending to her plants. Aurora was a loving grandmother who enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Gloria Lopez, Susana Simancas, and Sylvia Gonzalez and her sons: Roberto, Fernando, Francisco, Manuel, Adrian, and Miguel Gonzalez. Aurora is also survived by her thirty-six grandchildren and her forty-two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Gonzalez, and her sons Randolfo and Sergio Gonzalez.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road, in Goodyear, Arizona. Burial services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery following the visitation.
