Obituary
On Monday, December 27, 2021, Amy Lynn Parker-Wood – an incredibly loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and best friend, passed away at the age of 46. Amy was born in Lynwood, CA., on June 28, 1975; and lived in Buckeye, AZ. Amy graduated from Agua Fria High School. She was married to the love of her life, Jeremy Wood, on October 10, 2021.
Amy lived life to the fullest, and as she mentioned many times, the reason she was put on this earth was to be a mother. She exemplified what a mother should be; everything from a best friend to a disciplinarian and everything in between. Amy was a devoted and loving wife as well as best friend to so many. She enjoyed gardening, being sarcastic, loving unconditionally, Snapchat, telling her honest opinion whether you liked it or not, and her greatest joy of all, being an amazing wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband Jeremy Wood; daughters Karissa Parker, Jenna Wood, and Katelyn Wood; mother Donna Tucker; father Tony Freilich; sisters Yolonda Johnson and Cindy Blevins; brothers Jay Tucker, Dan Tucker, Mark Bell, Dave Coonfare, and Tony Freilich. She was preceded in death by her dad Don Tucker.
Memorial services will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338 on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Visitation 8am-9am, Celebration of Life service 9am-11am.

Amy was a beautiful soul and will be missed tremendously. As we grieve her loss here on earth I find comfort knowing she is in paradise with the lord.

I am praying for you and your precious family at this time of great loss!
My husband, our immediate family and our church family are praying for you, also.
I feel your pain, Jeremy, in losing your beautiful spouse and I know that it is very hard and hurts deeply, because I lost my loving husband almost 13 years ago.
I know that you are going to miss Amy every day, because you loved her so much, but take one moment at a time and ALWAYS cling to those beautiful memories. Every day, look forward to the day that you will see her again, in Heaven, where we will ALL be together with Jesus Christ, with no more pain, tears or sorrow!
