  3. Dear Emily, Christina, Veronica and all of your family,

I have known Al almost 30 years. We worked together in the Design Center for then Samaritan Health System. We lived and prayed with him through his leukemia and were ecstatic once he was well again. He is one of the most courageous people on the planet. He loved all of you so much– and was most proud of being “tata” to his beloved grandchildren. My heart aches for all of you and I wish you God’s blessings as you remember Al’s humor, sensitivity and love for you all.

  4. So sad to hear about Al. Got to know him so well over the years. Watched his kids grow up, get married and have kids of their own all through the photos in his work space and the stories we would tell. Going to miss the Batman.

  5. I worked with Al for 12 years at Banner Health. I will always remember his quick wit and positive, kind and easy going nature. R.I.P. my fellow Wildcat, MD (Mexican Designer), and always Batman.
