Obituary
Susan Marie Dedi Norton, 77, of Goodyear, Arizona died April 19, 2021 in her home, peacefully and surrounded by those that love her. She was born June 8, 1943 to William Mrozek and Mary Ullrey in Chicago, Illinois.
A nurse for over 50 years, Susan unselfishly, and with all her heart, provided care to tens of thousands of patients over her career. She worked tirelessly, and loyally, all while raising three children on her own. She always gave everything she had and then some. She is remembered as one of the most kind, compassionate, friendly, loving and self-sacrificing persons one could have the honor of knowing.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Diana Zakaras, sons, William (Bill) Dedi and Kevin Dedi, and three grandchildren, Connor (William), Noah (Diana) and Preston (Kevin).
All service information is private at this time. As an avid animal lover, Susan would have loved that donations be made to Fearless Kitty Rescue.

I have fo d memories you. I was one of those kids you were a second mom to. You even taught me how to drive. I always loved you and you will be missed.

Mom, you were one of the most technically challenged people I knew. You would call and say “my slots aren’t working”. I would end up remoting into the laptop to turn the sound on or resize the screen. You thought I was a genius, and I loved you for that. I will miss your calls needing help. Your calls to tell us you were still alive. Your calls when I was on conference calls and YOUR ringtone would announce to everyone on the call that my mom was calling. They would all ask how you were when I got back to the meeting. I miss you mom, now and forever.
