Obituary

Sharon L. Cravens, age 74 passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by family on December 27th, 2022. Sharon L. Cravens was born on March 16, 1948 to Flay Phillip Randolph and Rachel Irene Randolph. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University. Sharon worked for the city of Avondale for twenty-five years as the supervisor of the water billing department. She is preceded in death by her mother Irene Randolph, Father Flay Randolph, Sister Sandy Write, and Daughters Rachel Cravens and Denise Crane. Her step daughter Sherry McNichols and husband William Cravens. She is survived by her Daughters Kimberly Martinez, Trish Roaten, Rachel Bedell and sons Thomas F. Cravens, William L. Cravens Jr, Scott Cravens, and T.J. Cravens. Her Step daughters Suzette Sisneros, Chlorinda Cravens – Herrera. She also is survived by twenty – five grandchildren. Her family was everything to her she loved all of her children deeply. She was often described as the glue that held the family together and will be missed more than words can express.

A visitation will be held at 8AM, Thursday, January 5 at Thompson Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 9AM and the burial will follow at Lewis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery in Buckeye, Arizona.
