Obituary

Robert Rivera, age 72, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on January 16, 2021. He graduated from Carl Hayden High School then went on to college earning multiple degrees. His pursuit of education continued throughout his adult life.

Robert was a very hard worker. He retired from APS as a Journeyman Electrician. He also spent time as a CNA where he received praise for the great care he took with his patients. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, coaching, listening to oldies, and watching movies.

Robert is survived by his daughters Kathie Lopez, Sara Rivera and Linda Rivera, his son Bobby Rivera, his brother Billy Rivera (Bonny), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Robert was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He taught his family so many things, the most important being unconditional love. Robert was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. He will remain a hero in the hearts of his family.
