Obituary

Maudine Rock of Buckeye, Arizona passed away March 9, 2023 at the age of 79. She was born February 7, 1944 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Bertha Brit. She was raised by her step-father Scott Bread. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Rock Sr., whom she married on December 26, 1962. She is also survived by her children Berthena “Tina” Cruz, Daniel Joseph Rock, David Ernest Rock, and Ernest Rock, Jr. She also has several grandchildren: Francis Rock, David Rock, Jr., Phillip Rock, Victoria Seweingyawma, Krystal Gutierrez, Joshua Cruz, Shane Cruz, Christian Rock, Kiersta Rock, Tyler Rock, and Kaitlyn Rock, and five great-grandchildren.

Maudine was a veteran of the United States Army.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, March 17, at Thompson Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at 10:00am, Monday March 20 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (Phoenix, Arizona).
