Obituary

Mary Samaniego, aged 92, of Glendale, Arizona died June 29, 2022 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born November 20, 1929 in Litchfield, Arizona to Jose J. Samaniego and Soledad V. Samaniego.

Our beloved mother was a very strong woman that raised seven children (two sons and five daughters). She loved working and providing for her family. She retired as a utility operator in 2001 from Parker Hannifin. She continued to enjoy life with her family and going to the casino. We were truly blessed to have her in or lives for 92 years and we will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her daughters Gloria F Robinson Virginia Flores, Esther Velez, Diana Rascon, and Cecilia Rascon; sons Arturo Flores and Joe Flores, Jr.; and sister Lupe Miranda. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

A visitation will be held at 9AM on July 6 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, Arizona.
