Obituary

Madelyn Aleyse Ewers, age 25, of Avondale, Arizona, passed away on April 15, 2021, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born November 29, 1995, to Karl and Kimberley Ewers in Glendale, Arizona.

She is survived by her son, Brody Ewers, her sisters, Kathryn Ewers, Kayla Ewers, and Cassondra Wagner, and her brother, Patrick Ewers. Madelyn is also survived by her parents; Karl Ewers and Kimberley Ewers, and her grandparents, Peter and Donna Sterbenz and Joyce Ewers.

Madelyn, also known as, Madi, loved singing, especially show tunes like Phantom of the Opera, gymnastics, and playing soccer, where she was a goalie, and adopted the nickname “Manson.” Madi was a kind soul that always expressed love to friends, family, and even people she just met. She was quirky, fun, and unique, constantly changing her looks and style to match her vibrant personality. Madi loved junk food and eating. She could convince anyone into believing she had multiple stomachs to accommodate the variety of foods she’d consume at all hours of the day. Madelyn was independent, strong-willed, and determined; she knew what she wanted and how to get it.

  2. Madi, you were such a beautiful soul. You became my sister and were my best friend. We had our ups and downs but we always would find each other again. You were an amazing aunt to my kids who love and miss you dearly. I love you Madi!!

  3. Madi,
Its hard to put into words how someone who only met you once can grieve. We Shared the phantom and other little nuances of life. I wish I had spoken to you more. I love you little sister, forever.

You were such an amazing girl. I am so lucky I ever got to call you my best friend. We went through a lot but we always had so much fun. You made me laugh more than everyone else we hung out with ! I love you and I pray for peace and comfort for your family.
