Obituary

Jack Leroy Fox, age 76, of Arlington, AZ passed away on July 8, 2018.  Jack was born in Mankato, MN on July 30, 1941 to the late Robert and Maxine Fox.  His family moved to Scottsdale, AZ when he was just 4 months old.  He graduated from Scottsdale High School in 1959.  He was in the Arizona Army National Guard from 1964 – 1968.  He retired from SRP after 30 years and then went on to work for AZGF for 14 years.  He was married to his loving wife Sharla for 25 years.

Jack grew up riding horses, fishing, hunting, and barbequing.  He roped for many years and went on many trail rides with family and friends.  Most summer weekends, when his children were young, they could all be found at the family’s cabin in the White Mountains or at the lake.  After he retired he enjoyed spending time with his wife and visiting with friends.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He often made trips to visit his son and daughter-in-law in KS, and never missed a hunting season in TX with his daughter, son-in-law and his grandsons.  If anyone needed help with anything he would be right there to lend a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Sharla; his son, Nick Fox and wife Kathy of KS; daughter, Jody Studer and husband Robert of TX; his wife’s children, who he loved as his own; daughter, Dawn Johnson; and son, Joe Lee.  He is also survived by his brother, Dick Fox and wife Carolyn; his grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin (Fachon) and Kodey Pohlman, Brittney (Alex)  Moreno, Jarred and Clayton (Kaitlyn) Studer, Trinity Johnson, Sean Lee; one great-grandson, Grayson Moreno; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family. During this difficult time, God is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit He saves.
    Psalms 34:18.
