Obituary
Mr. Higinio Lopez, age 85, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away on January 10, 2021 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born February 28, 1935 to Pablo Lopez and Maria Espinoza in Iturbide, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Higinio grew up in McAllen,TX where he married his life partner of 66 years, Maria Luisa and moved to Idaho before settling in Arizona in 1957. Higinio farmed cotton in the Rainbow Valley, and Harquahala and Buckeye Valley.
He is survived by his spouse Maria Luisa, his daughters; Luisa Boren, Marta Lopez, Carmen Stemwedel, and Diane Lopez, and his son; Marcos Lopez. He is also survived by his three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Higinio is preceded in death by his son, Armando Lopez.
Services were held on January 20, 2021 at Louis B. Hazelton memorial cemetery in Buckeye, Arizona.
