McGimpsey Frances

Frances McGimpsey, age 79, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away on June 26, 2020 in Goodyear, Arizona. She was born March 26, 1941 to Gus Johnson and Margaret Krapf in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Frances was a loving mother, sister, wife and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters; Barbara Urena, and Judy Simko, her son in law; Blas J. Urena, and her brother; James Johnson. Frances is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Barbara, Michael, Richard, and Catherine.

She was preceded in death by her son; Fred Kolman, her daughter; Jane Kolman, her husband; Frank McGimpsey and her step-father; Thomas Krapf.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd. in Avondale, Arizona at 10:00 AM.

  2. Fran , You and I always talked about Jersey. You loved Bayone. You would tell me all about living there. I will miss all our talks , you were a great friend. And a lot of fun. I know your now with Janie and Fred , so your at peace.

  3. My heart goes out to Barbara & Juan, & Judy! Of course, all those beautiful intelligent grandkids! That picture is so her with her lipstick. I remember story my mom, Margaret Mueller Stratton told me when babysitting Frances & her brothers. I have my own wonderful memories too! I love you all!

  4. Barbara. I’m sorry for the lost of your mother. She was a great person that I known. She always talked with me whenever I called for you and your brother. I will miss her so much. She is now being watch over with the guardian angel. May she rest in peace. God bless
