Obituary

Donald William Fyfe, age 87 of Goodyear, AZ died February 22, 2019, in Goodyear, AZ. He was born 1932 to Clifford and Marie Fyfe in Terre Haute, IN. He served in the US Army Reserve Engineer Corps until 1962 achieving the rank of 1^st Lieutenant. He graduated from Royerton High School in Indiana and as a Mechanical Engineer from the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. He was a member of ASM International. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, road trips, gardening, and photographing and cataloging all the wildlife that would migrate through his beautiful backyard. He was a fan of the Phoenix Suns and Whataburger. He enjoyed spending his time tinkering around the house and yard. He especially loved family gatherings.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Tracy Duff, and Gail Ashley; sons, David, and Matthew Fyfe; sister Carolyn Welch; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Fyfe and older brother, James Fyfe. A visitation will be held at 8:00 am followed by a funeral service at 9:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 1001 N Central Avenue, Avondale, AZ 85323.
