Obituary

Mr. Don Tucker, 82 of Goodyear, Arizona died September 1, 2021 in Sun City West, Arizona. He was born May 13, 1939 in Fremont, Ohio to Robert Tucker and Naomi Wells. He is survived by his wife Donna Tucker, daughters Cynthia (George) Blevins, Amy (Jeremy) Parker, and sons Jay (Andrea) Tucker and Daniel (Renee) Tucker, and his sisters Mary Ann Voggenthaler, Kay Ellwood, Lynne Nord, and Chris Tucker, and his brother Bob Tucker. He is also survived by his nephew Mike Sipsma, cousins Floyd Tucker and Bernie Tucker, and his brother-in-law Al Voggenthaler. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Karissa Parker, Luke Tucker, Madelyn Tucker, Daniel Tucker Jr, George Blevins, Michael Blevins, 4 step- grandchildren: Darcy, Lenee, Daniel and Ron, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Wells, father Robert Tucker, brother John Wells, step-father Ralph Wells, son-in-law Dan Parker, and grandparents Theresa and Joseph Miller.
Don and his wife Donna were married April 5, 1980 until his passing this September. Don was a funeral director for over 50 years and owned and operated four funeral homes in Arizona. The things he enjoyed most were his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed off-roading, scuba-diving, hunting, fishing, and traveling.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 27, at 2PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona.
