Obituary

Adela DelCastillo, 84, of Phoenix, AZ died May 26, 2014 in Surprise, AZ. She was born May 23, 1930 in Tolleson, AZ to Saturnino and Paula Serrata. She was the 1st Fiesta Queen at Blessed Sacrament Church in 1949 and after retiring, she volunteered at Maryvale Hospital for several years. She is survived by her daughter Rose DelCastillo Holguin; son Henry DelCastillo, brother Ray Serrata; and 2 grandchildren, Serena Rose and Breah Rose DelCastillo.
A rosary will be held at 9:30 am, Mass at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, June 3rd at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tolleson, AZ. Burial will follow in procession to Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
