Obituary

De Ann Louise Wolfe, a devoted and loving Mom, passed away the morning of Friday, August 7, 2020 at her home in Litchfield Park, Arizona. De was born Saturday, August 21, 1965 in Pomona, California to Anita and Aurther Hill.

 

In Exira, Iowa she was an active member of the United Church of Christ. She attended Exira Community High School where she excelled in short distance Track and Field along with being team captain of the Cheerleading squad. She enjoyed creating Art and won an award for a painting. Following her graduation in 1984 she moved to Boone, Iowa.

 

That same year while working at KFC in Boone she met and began dating her future husband, Joe. Their relationship prospered and in 1987 they had moved out west to Arizona. In 1991 they got married and in 1994 she gave birth to her only Son, Ryan. By 2000 she was single Mom whose only passion in the world was raising and caring for her Son.

 

De is survived by her Son, Ryan Wolfe; her Sister, Wendy (Travis) Day and her Brother, Pete (Jill) Hill. She was preceded in death by her Mom, Anita Hill.

 

A viewing to celebrate De’s life will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Chapel on 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, Arizona 85338. The following Wednesday morning, De will be laid to rest at West Resthaven Cemetery surrounded by her dearest friends and family.

The most important person in your life was your son, you loved taking about him MORE THAN ANYTHING. Always how wonderful he was and how much you loved him.
