  4. Paul, Judy and Michael,

My sincerest condolences to you over Darren‘s passing.

Lance recently shared with me the news about Darren‘s passing and needless to say, I was shocked.

I have fond memories of growing up with him and riding our motorcycles all over the maintenance roads at the country club.

Now, as a father myself, I fully appreciate the patience you had with us Mr. Johnson. You gave us so many passes after our questionable behaviors and I truly thank you for your generosity and even temperament.

Although our paths after high school took us different ways and we lost touch, I will always hold a fondness in my heart for Darren.

I hope you knowing that he meant something to me and to others brings you some comfort in this understandably difficult time.

    Best,
