Obituary
Cody Merlin Nielsen, age 20, died September 4, 2018. He was born September 17, 1997, in Glendale, AZ to Carl Nielsen and Lisa Green Nielsen. Cody was a very caring soul. He had a strong faith in his Lord, Jesus Christ. He spent many hours working out at the gym. He liked listening to Christian music and enjoyed pizza. He especially loved his two dogs, Kairi and Jasmine, and his brother Joshua meant the world to him.
Cody is survived by his father, Carl Nielsen; sister, Trinity; brother, Joshua Nielsen; grandparents, Merlin and Cynthia Nielsen, aunt, and uncle Michael and Carey Brown; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Nielsen.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Estrella Mountain Church, 10485 S. Estrella Pkwy, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
