Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our daughter, Christina Marie Fay, 33, of Goodyear, Arizona. Prior to her death, Christina accepted the Lord as her savior and her family is comforted knowing that she is eternally at peace in heaven. She will be missed dearly by friends and family.

Christina was born January 14, 1987 in Tucson, Arizona to parents, Bruce and Hope Fay. Christina is survived by both her parents, and her step-father, John Bellem, whom has cared for her since the age of twelve. She will forever be remembered and loved by them. In her time here on earth, Christina was a loving and devoted mother and is survived by her two sons, Brent (13), Brodie (4), as well as her two step-daughters, Kourtney (14), and Brooklyn (10). Her children were the light of her life and brought her great joy and happiness. She is survived by her brother Brent Fay. Brent and Christina were inseparable. She always described their relationship as him being the “Wind beneath her Wings,” he stood in the shadows and let his little sister soar. Even in death, their bond will never be broken. Christina will never be forgotten by her younger cousin Makynzie Gregory, with whom she shared a deep connection. Christina is also remembered by her grandmothers, Gloria Fay, and Mary Bellem who she loved tremendously, along with her nephew Christian and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.

As Christina entered the gates of heaven, she was welcomed by her sister Dasha, grandparents Edward and Dorothy Mullins, Grandmother Rena Hyvonen, grandfather Dean Fay, and her aunt Stacy and Uncle Everett.

In Christina’s short time on this Earth, she touched the hearts of many. Her passion in life was helping others that were less fortunate than herself. Her self-sacrificing ways will be carried on by her children, as she strived to teach them the power of selflessness.

From a very young age Christina shared a special connection with her uncle Joe, who taught her about the love of Christ, which too became a passion of hers.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by Christina are invited to come and commemorate her life, August 2, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338. A viewing will take place from 1-2pm, with the funeral service to follow from 2-4pm. Pastor Chris Stull of Wellspring Church will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered during this time.
