Obituary

Cecil Iris Bratten, 89, of Goodyear, Arizona died May 12, 2021 in Buckeye, Arizona.  She was born September 9, 1931 to Charles Bannister and Cora Rowse in Fargo, North Dakota.

Cecil was an assistant teacher who worked with special needs children.  She was married for 56 years and raised three children.  Cecil loved history, especially the 2^nd world war, and used to pan for gold with her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee Bratten, son, Mark Elgin Bratten, sisters, Jan Doris Lazar and Barbara Lee Morales, grandchildren, Tara Marie Lopez and Amber Nicole Bratten, and two great-grandchildren, Aurora Cecilia Lopez and Jarred Raymond Lopez.
