Obituary
Bonnie Helen Bruckelmyer, age 70 of Goodyear, AZ died March 30, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born on January 4, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN and resided in Golden Valley, MN with her parents, Glen and Elizabeth Balfanz. She graduated from Golden Valley High School in 1968. She married her husband, David Bruckelmyer, in 1978. She worked as a travel agent, a job she loved, for 18 years. She enjoyed traveling throughout the US and all over the world with David by her side. The couple moved to Goodyear, AZ in 2000 where she worked at the Wigwam Golf Resort as a Guest Concierge for ten years. She loved meeting and assisting the guests at the resort as well as playing golf with David.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, David R. Bruckelmyer of Goodyear, AZ; sisters Janice Frys of Plymouth, MN, Irene Kangas of Columbia Heights, MN, Angela Balfanz of Brooklyn Park, MN; and many other loving family members. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality and will be missed by all who knew her.
No local services are planned. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN where she will share a grave site with her loving companion and husband, David. Condolences for the family may be left below.
