Obituary
Jack C. Wigal, age 76 of Goodyear, Arizona died February 9, 2018. He was born June 11, 1941 in Reedsville, Ohio to Albert and Sylvia Wigal. Jack was a graduate of Racine High School in Ohio and was involved in Boys State and Future Farmers of America (FFA.) He went on to graduate from the Medical Technology program at Carnegie College in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the President of his HOA, and a volunteer usher at the Goodyear ballpark during spring training. He was rated as a Master Gardener (2011) through the extension office at the University of Arizona, Maricopa County. He retired from Smith Clinic (laboratory), Marion, Ohio in December 2006. Jack is survived by his wife, Diane Vance Wigal; daughter, Sheri Wigal Hughes (Rick); son, Martin Wigal; sisters, Phyllis Wigal Klein (Bob); brothers, Bryan, Harry, and George Wigal (Becky); three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Sylvia Wigal; brother, Dale Wigal; and sister, Judy Wigal Smith (Charlie).
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 925 N Sarival Ave, Goodyear, AZ 85338. A Celebration of Life will be held later this year in Marion, Ohio.

Sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. I knew Jack when he worked in the lab at Smith Clinic in Marion. Jack was always very friendly and had a quick smile whenever he saw you. Everybody liked Jack. He has been missed since his retirement. Fellow employees who knew him or worked with him won’t forget him, his kindness, and knowledge. Rest In Peace my friend. My thoughts and prayers for the family.

Diane – I am so sorry for your loss. I often marveled at Jack’s gardening skills. He was always ready to lend a helping hand in the neighborhood. It was my privilege and pleasure to have served on the HOA Board with Jack. May he rest in peace.

I am heartbroken with the news of Jack’s passing. I have and will always miss Jack’s sense of humor! Always kept us laughing in the lab!! Most of all I miss his hugs …. No matter how bad you were feeling for any reason, a big bear Jack hug made it all better. Love ya Jack and rest in peace. Hugs and prayers to you Diane, PK and all of your family.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of our great volunteer and Master Gardener. The Litchfield Park Library will miss him terribly. We were so grateful to have had him for the time we had. Our deepest condolences.
